Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

A while back I caved and gave in to the hype that is balm stains, I decided to go for the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey Douce. It's taken me ages to get around to reviewing this product as other than it having the most long winded name ever I just thought it was a bit meh and didn't use it more than once. However after going through my stash for something I can't tell you about just yet, I thought it was about time I let you know my opinion on this over reviewed product.

OK so basically it's a pigmented lip balm stick, I don't think it really needs much of an intro now as I don't think there is any brand that hasn't got their version on this Chubby Stick dupe. The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain was not really my favourite lip product I have to say, the pigmentation was good but it wasn't at all moisturising and it was too sticky. And for £6 odd I wouldn't consider this a cheap product, so I expected more especially after all the hype it's had.

As I ordered this from Superdrug online I wasn't completely sure about what to expect when it came to the colour, I think the name Honey Douce is a little misleading as I think it sounds like it should be a more neutral/beige shade. However this is more of a plum colour, which doesn't really suit my skin tone and I think this is the main reason I only wore it once.

All in all if balm stains are your thing the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is an OK option.
